OMI Internships

Outreach Mission Inc. depends heavily on our communtiy and volunteers. We are so greatful for the hours donated by folks and the continued rally around the mission to end homelessness in and around Lee County. Its always a challenge as people come and go, schedules and demands oon our time changes.

We have started a new program to expand and include high school and college students. Our New internship program creates benefits two fold. Students gain knowledge based not only in volunteerism but social service programs, local and state regulations surrounding social programs, adminstration and more. OMI values, not only student input and opinions of this next generation but also skills brought by students in the areas of technology, marketing and new ideas that can possibly benefit the shelter. Through this internship program OMI wants to embrace our community's students.
